What is MO Vets Outdoors?
MO Vets Outdoors’ primary focus is getting veterans out of their houses and into the outdoors to help with mental health and suicide prevention. Annually, we host an average of 60-75 events, getting anywhere from 330- 380 veterans out. We cover the entire state of Missouri and accomplish our mission with a strong volunteer staff of 250. We have 6 regions in the state with Regional Leads and awesome teams striving to meet our mission every day.

About the lodge?

In 2024 Geeding Construction generously made an agreement to lease an area on 68 acres for $1/year for 20 years with extensions to go as long as the organization was standing. The farm is located in Troy Missouri where MO Vets Outdoors can facilitate getting veterans outdoors and unplugged. 

The Lodge is projected to host up to 150 events annually including 3D archery shoots, trap shoots, rifle range days, annual dove hunts and annual whitetail deer hunts.  These events are currently being facilitated with temporary restrooms and lodging.

In the spring of 2024 construction began on a lodge located on the property with a goal of serving our heroes better by having a central location for everyone to fellowship, relax and unwind before and after hunts and events. We have made tremendous progress and are seeing a “light at the end of the tunnel” but still need some support to get to the finish line.

How can you help?

MO Vets Outdoors has been blessed in so many ways by numerous incredible companies and individuals.  We still have a few landmark items on our checklist to complete in order to begin serving our vets including external electrical service connection, interior electrical material and installation,  Interior plumbing material and installation.  By sponsoring at one of the levels below you can help MO Vets Outdoors complete this lodge and make a direct impact on some of the men and women that bravely served and are currently serving our country.

All sponsorship levels above will receive logo placement at the lodge as well as recognition at events and on social media, 4 entries in our annual golf tournament, a sponsored table at the MO Vets Annual Banquet and a sponsored table at the Jefferson City Banquet.
